since v150 came out ive been having an issue where i get a flash of white on start up if i have Homepage and new windows as Firefox home with a wallpaper... i have re-installed firefox and tested it as default and it still happens. seems the wallpapers have a delay till it displays properly.

There seems to be a bug tracked: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1900710 but that's been going for a while. Is this a recent change for you?

it only happens on the startup of the browser not when i create a new tab. i only seen it happening on v150 so it just started with the recent updates

Edit: i looked on bugzilla found a post from a month ago and found that disabling "browser.startup.homepage.abouthome_cache.enabled" in about:config resolved the issue. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2031465

Nice find! If you ever want that performance back, you can try enabling that startup pref back and clearing the cache just one time, if that sticks. The steps are shown in Use the Troubleshooting Information page to help fix Firefox issues and then clicking the button in the box for "Try clearing the startup cache" and restart.
