  • Bulleted list itemSolutions

1. Check Firefox Home Page

Open Firefox. Tap the Home page (the house icon). Search or scroll down and see if Snapchat is there as a shortcut. If so, hold on it for a long time and choose 'Delete'.

2. Remove SnapChat from the Home Screen (as an App Shortcut)

Touch and hold the Snapchat link on your phone. Drag it to 'Delete' at the top of the screen (or use the menu option to delete).

3. Check for malware/adware

  1. Click the menu button Fx89menuButton and choose History.
  2. In the History menu, choose "Clear Recent History…".
  3. Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
  4. Under the History section, check Cache and Cookies and uncheck everything else.
  5. Now click the "Clear Now" button.

Further information can be found in the Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox article.

4. Check that you don't have SnapChat installed
