I have started to have emails disappear from my in box. I have been in touch with my internet provider with no luck as they think it may be some thing with in your system. I am not what you would call computer literate so I have no idea what is going on. Any help will be gratefully received Regards Geoff Chatfield

re : I have been in touch with my internet provider with no luck as they think it may be some thing with in your system.

I'm afraid that is the standard reponse any ISP will say if you use any email client. They have no idea, no knowledge of email client programs and really do not care either way.

Can you provide some information about your set up. Who is your Internet Provider - I presume they provided the email address ? Do you use a POP or an IMAP mail account ? Not sure...Right click on the mail account name in Folder Pane and select 'Settings' The 'Account Settings' opens in a new tab. Select 'Server Settings' - look top right for 'Server Type' - what does it say?

When the emails disappear from your 'Inbox', do they appear in the 'Trash/Deleted' folder or just disappear?

Check - Have you got a filter working which may be hiding emails from view ? Select the 'Inbox' folder. Check to see if the 'Quick Filter Bar' has an icon highlighted. If any icon is highlighted then click on it to disable it.

If you use the top 'Menu Bar' then click on 'View', hover cursor over 'Threads' and make sure only 'All' is selected. OR Click on the Menu app ≡ icon > click on 'View' > click on 'Threads' and select 'All'
