Getpocket (Pocket) archived items are removed form Pocket cache on all devices. Why?

Well-known addon, Pocket allows keeping articles cached on a device. If you have more than one device, they are synchronized. Thus a copy of an article marked on one device is stored on both devices. Or at least it seems to be stored on both devices as its status is the same. Unfortunately, I can't decide to keep a full copy of an article on my PC while only the link on my smartphone.

I usually mark articles on my phone, where mass storage is at a premium, so I try to archive them asap, but then I have to reload them on PC, especially when I suspect they may disappear shortly. Is there a way to limit storage usage on the phone by selecting the archiving option, while keeping more articles on the desktop?
