So, I just switched to firefox on android 10 as my default browser and I've got this bug where the suggestions remain opened even after the search is complete and it's showing the results (see screenshot). I can interact with the search but I can't see what I'm pressing for obvious reasons. I have tried clearing the cache and even reinstalling it but with no success.

Firefox focus works without any problem.

What is the make and model of your Android device?

Which keyboard app are you using?

I'm on SwiftKey, I guess that is the problem since it seems to work with gboard. How can I fix it on SwiftKey tho?

Ok apparently as soon as I switched back to swiftkey there is no more bug.

it broke again after restarting firefox, what can I do?

This sounds like an issue that you will need to raise with Swiftkey, rather than an issue with Firefox for Android.

Swiftkey works well with all the other apps, so I think it is a problem with firefox

Hi

Thank you for that information. I think this is a hard to tie down issue that I am asking to be reopened. You can follow progress on this at:

https://github.com/mozilla-mobile/fenix/issues/16973

That's not my issue, you can see it from the picture in my first post. Whatever, this is a deal breaker for my daily browser usage so I must switch away from Firefox until my problem is solved

If you wish I can file a new issue, but it is very difficult to see or replicate the issue that you are having.
