The default font in Thunderbird 78.1 is so ridiculously small on my 22inch 1080p monitor screen that it is seriously hurting my eyes. (Screen resolution is optimal and T-Bird is the only one I have a problem with.)

I have looked all over and have not found any real solutions and Ctrl+ is only a temporary workaround. It becomes a major annoyance after awhile.

Is there anyway to default the font sizes universally in T-Bird or at least the Incoming mail pages ?

Just about ready to give it up.

What exactly does 'the Incoming email page' mean?

Are you talking about font size in an open message window?

This is the screen I am talking about.

But, please note. the "Screen Shot" software changed the font from a light grey to a very much darker shade of black..

My actual working screen it is a faded very light grey tiny script . Just a little bit darker then a greyed out key.

Christ1,

Sincere thanks for your suggestions. I looked at the article.

My monitor and PC are set at the recommended settings of 1920x1080.

All other text on my PC are just fine and I do not wish to change any of my windows universal settings.

Nothing else in the article helped . Pairing that with T-Bird starting to get slow and bawky, I have just decided to replace Thunderbird. with Outlook.

Again thanks for your time and expertise, but I've had it.

John
