Firefox upgraded, now cannot access credit union account. "Secure connection Failed."

SECURE CONNECTION FAILED. Two days ago Firefox upgraded, now I cannot access my credit union online account. Oh, I can if I use Chrome. But I do not want to use Chrome! I called the credit union. The problem is not on their end. I cleared the cache and history on my computer. I rebooted my router. Nada. I need a human being who can explain to me in plain English how to fix this problem. I am computer literate, but I don't have a degree in cyberspeak. I hope the only answer is not that I abandon Firefox and be forced into Google-world. Please Help!

Can you show the full error message? Is there any Advanced button on the error page?

You can remove all data stored in Firefox for a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History -> Show All History" or "View -> Sidebar -> History").

Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox for this domain like history and cookies and passwords and exceptions and cache, so be cautious. If you have a password or other data for that domain that you do not want to lose then make sure to backup this data or make a note.

You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of involved files.

If you revisit a 'forgotten' website then data for that website will be saved once again.

I am sorry. I followed that procedure as specified, and the page was forgotten. But when I went there and attempted to open the site again, I got the exact same message again, as I posted above. Other thoughts? (Note: Obviously it is important for me to be able to access my cu account, or I would not keep on with this.). Thank you.

More information: We just ran a test on my husband's computer. He is also running Firefox, but has not permitted the upgrade (I permit them automatically). He is able to access the account. That seems to narrow down the problem to the Firefox upgrade. Any more thoughts?

My apologies, I do not understand that last comment. We just accessed the site perfectly through my husband's computer, but his Firefox is not upgraded. Mine is. If there were a way to revert back to an older version of Firefox, I would. I am sad. Because of this problem, I will be forced unwillingly to use Chrome.

It's too bad there is no way to get direct assistance. Mozilla can send me emails asking for financial contributions, but when I need help with their product.... I am sad.

If you are trying to access my account using the web address as shown on the attachment, no wonder you are getting that message. That is the second page of my credit union's login process. In order to get there, you have to enter my login ID on the first page of the online banking website. Of course, I will not give you my personal information. What normally happens is, after I enter my ID on the first page, I get the second page to enter my password. Instead of that, I am getting the Secure Connection Failure as shown on the attachment. My husband has Firefox version 79.0., and with the login info is able to get right in to the account. I am also able to get in to the account using Chrome. I now have Firefox 81.0.2 on my computer, and cannot access the account. The problem seems perfectly obvious to me. The upgrade has added some protocol or something which denies access to my credit union account. This stinks. Until Mozilla sees fit to correct the obvious problem, I will have to research and see if I can revert to a previous version of Firefox, and, like my husband, not allow upgrades, or else switch to Chrome.
