How to configure all-day events as the default?

I would like every new event that I enter to be an "All day Event" by default. I strongly prefer to simply include the event time in my name for the event, instead of trying to fill in the start and end time boxes which are kind of a pain for me to use.

There is a setting for Default Length of an event in minutes, but it doesn't include any all-day option, nor does it allow configuring a default start time.

I am using Thunderbird 68.8.1 on Windows. I found a solution that worked for a previous version at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1264757 but that solution no longer seems to work and the discussion is closed. Any ideas? Thanks.
