when i click a link my keyboard pops up and i have to click keyboard icon to get it to drop out of the screen.

i visited a website with a list of links and whenever i clicked on a link my keyboard slid up from the bottom of my screen covering most of the open page. i had to click the keyboard down symbol to see the page. this happened on many of the other links i clicked on as i went through the list. help to prevent this from happening would be appreciated.
