If you changed the password, delete the old ones in Tools/Options/Security/Passwords/Saved Passwords, restart TB, and enter the correct password when prompted at the next connection.

It only shows my outgoing server (SMTP) details, not my incoming. I changed the password anyway, but still no joy.

I hoped there was a method to force the login screen to show to enable me to test things out via that.

It was working fine until about 2pm today, then I stopped receiving emails. My browser login to the same account works fine. Thanks for your input

What happened suddenly to produce the error? Did TB update, or do you have a security program that began blocking TB? What is your AV/security app? If you're capable of running Windows in safe mode with networking, that might indicate the source of the problem.

Note that you can't change a password in TB, only apply one that has been changed with the mail provider.

I have no idea.

I have created a new account, using the same login details, and that's working.... Only change I made was to use Imap not pop3.

So, problem solved for now, but still none the wiser as to why it stopped working.
