I cant use firefox any more as anysearch .com malaware has been installed and everything I have tried to remove it does not work any ideas?

When I log in anysearch appears as my dedicated search engine and it is a malaware I understand and need to remove I managed to remove on safari but not firefox

Hello jgbutchart,

Let's see if we can get rid of that pain in the derrière.

You may already have tried some of it, but here's what I would like you
to do :

Go to Preferences => Add-ons => Extensions, and if you see anything that you didn't put there yourself  : please, remove it.

Then run all malwarescans that are listed in this article

Especially for Mac : https://www.malwarebytes.com/mac/

Next :

Go to Preferences => Options => Home, and make sure that you set your homepage to the page you want :

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-to-set-the-home-page
