bookmarks menu dropdowns randomly and persistently self-opening

Firefox (69.0.3 but this problem has been around for many months and versions). Pretty much every time I open Firefox, some, several, bookmarks dropdown lists are fully open - newly open, that is, because I keep closing them in response!. At random, all over my bookmarks menu list. Tedious. Anybody know/guess why? Addons: Avast online security; Ghostery; I dont care about cookies; Roboform Password Manager
