I'm browsing and direct-link.net ads started showing on my browser on bottom right corner on all websites, I didn't have this problem before, I wanted to know what could have caused this and why, how to remove it.

It's likely one of two things.
It might be caused by an installed browser extension that's creating the ads on the websites. You can check this using Firefox Safe Mode. If the issue isn't present there, it's likely a browser extension and you will need to determine one it is.
Otherwise, it's likely caused by malware on your computer. To resolve this, you would need to scan your computer for infection. There are a variety of free scanning utilities, including:
- Microsoft Safety Scanner
- MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware
