I have Lockwise on both desktop and phone and I'm using the same Firefox login for both. I have logins stored in Lockwise on both devices but the lists are very different. It is almost as though I have two Firefox accounts both with the same ID and P/W. I'm confused! Any suggestions for a solution?

Sunsetting is probably only about the Lockwise extension for desktop that will be replaced by builtin Lockwise, the app for the mobile device should continue to keep working, so no need to worry. You still need to use Sync to Sync the logins to the mobile Lockwise app. The Lockwise extension for desktop gets its information via Sync. The builtin Lockwise can access the Password Manager directly.

Are you using the latest version of the Firefox Lockwise extension (2.2.5 alpha)?

Note that Firefox 68 and 69 already have a basic version of Lockwise builtin that can be accessed via the about:logins page after modifying some prefs. The Lockwise extension sets the overrideURI pref to its own moz-extension:// page, the builtin Lockwise is accessed via about:logins

In what way do the two devices differ with Lockwise? Are the two lists totally different or does one look older (incomplete; not properly synced) ?

Does the Lockwise app on mobile sync the logins when you start the app ?

On desktop you need to enable logins in the Sync settings and you can check if there are sync error logs available.

You can open about:sync-log via the location bar to see if there is a recent log available. You can upload a recent log if the log is too big to put in a reply.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the Lockwise app on my Android phone and it immediately synced with the Lockwise on my Desktop. Don't understand where I went wrong previously but its working correctly now. So, thank you for triggering this re-work.

I read the Important note in the link your gave me, that Lockwise is being sunsetted in Firefox v70. What will the implications be for limited techies like me?
