Trying to donate-VISA calls you "fraudulent org"
Apparently VISA (the company) has tagged Mozilla as a "fraudulent" organization and so my multiple tries to donate today have been blocked.
To fix this, they are disengaging my "fraudulent alerts" and that is the only way to get the charge to go through.
When I pressed my bank--saying that this doesn't solve the problem, there was nothing additional they said they could do. I really think you should take this up with Visa. This is very alarming.

I'm not aware of others reporting this issue, it may be your bank is just extra strict. I would double check that you are donating to the correct organization, https://donate.mozilla.org is the only official donation page for Mozilla

I've spent a substantial amount of time trying to sort this out this morning.
Let me repeat that my request to donate made it though my bank's "filter", but was blocked by Visa.
It is possible that other potential donations were blocked and folks don't have time to follow up in the way I have this morning.

I'm not really a fan of Julian Assange--but you do remember that one of the first things targeted with WikiLeaks was to block their funding sources.
Remember Paypal closing their account. ...maybe it's a tech glitch with Visa, or maybe it's something more nefarious.
Regardless--donations are your lifeblood and so I hope your email to Visa is not consider as "problem solved". PLEASE MAKE SURE SOMEONE FOLLOWS UP ON THIS.

I noticed that you marked my post as "Chosen Solution" - but as I didn't solve anything ("I hope your email to Visa is not considered as "problem solved".") : You can remove that mark by clicking on the "Undo" button to the right.

As you undoubtedly know, the people who answer questions here on the support forum, are volunteers, users just like you, who are trying to help other users in their spare time - and there is only so much we can do ....
