You do not need to register an account on support.mozilla.org in order to download any version of Firefox.

If you mean for Mac OSX 10.6 then the latest version you can use (on OSX 10.6, 10.7, 10.8) is actually 45.9.0 esr released on April 19, 2017 and not the 48.0.2 released on August 24, 2016. https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/releases/
