The best way to keep all Firefox data is to copy the profile folder in C:\Users\<user_name>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles (with .default at the end) and paste it in the same directory on the new computer.

For information, password data is stored in key3.db and logins.json.

Hi Fbrown3751

Did you look in the Password Manager?

  • Tools > Options > Security: Passwords: "Saved Passwords" > "Show Passwords"

There are extensions that can cause issues with the Password Manager and cause passwords not to show up.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

Note that it is best to create a new thread for your problem and not reuse existing threads that have a solved status.
