My fire fox keeps crashing every few minutes, i have read previous posts and done what has been said like disable the accelerator and changed it from 15 seconds to 60 seconds but it is still doing it. Its is seriously starting to get me down now as it takes an age to do a simple email.

I am no wizz kid on a computer so if you do have a remedy can you run it by me in fools mode please.

These crashes appear to be caused by the Norton Toolbar.

If a Norton product is installed on your PC, first check if it is up-to-date. Refer to these instructions from Norton.

If you know that you don't need the Norton Toolbar, you can disable it in Firefox:

1. Hit Ctrl+Shift+A to open the Add-ons Manager. 2. Click on "Extensions". 3. Find "Norton Toolbar". 4. Disable it. (You can always re-enable it)

Tell us if the problem is fixed or if you need further assistance.
