Is that an external application?

You can override how external links are opened via the browser.link.open_newwindow.override.external pref.

The meaning of the value of the browser.link.open_newwindow.override.external is the same as of browser.link.open_newwindow

  • 1:current tab; 2:new window; 3:new tab;

Hi andreamonni, Yes there is check out the feature opening a new window in a new tab. Firefox menu > Preferences > Tabs the first check box.

If this is happening only on this website: In order to change your Firefox Configuration please do the following steps :

  1. In the Location bar, type about:config and press Enter. The about:config "This might void your warranty!" warning page may appear.
  2. Click I'll be careful, I promise! to continue to the about:config page.
browser.link.open_newwindow

2 (default in SeaMonkey and Firefox 1.5): In a new window 3 (default in Firefox 2 and above): In a new tab 1 (or anything else): In the current tab or window

or browser. link. open_newwindow. restriction please see http://kb.mozillazine.org/Firefox_:_FAQs_:_About:config_Entrie...
