Adware attacked my computer....how do I get rid of it? pop ups everywhere

New computer system Windows 8.1 with McAfee installed....shows no problems everything secure. Haven't changed settings. Went to a variety of websites today, then suddenly ads popping up on my homepage when I open it. Ads don't appear on google search I noticed.

Then other webpages start loading telling me to go to someplace to correct problem....telling me an adware of some type invaded my system....and it loads over and over and over again. long url don't recognize anything in it.

Help!

Try Start in Safe Mode, sometimes this problem is caused by addons:

Sometimes the problem can be Malwares:

Also, you can use addons to block popups/ads:
