Thunderbird for Android Community Forum

I had an email in my hotmail spam folder. I moved it to the inbox and it disappeared! Possible causes of a problem 1. The email came from a private email domain eg info@companyname.com. It is a small company which uses outlook, a previous email also ended up in my spam even though it is genuine, (And I know from experience that kind of email address can cause problems in my setup) 2. Both emails had an attachment - the first one I moved using thunderbird desktop, not android, directly to the inbox of another email account with no problem. 3. All email to my hotmail automatically gets forwarded onto a gmail account (not leaving a copy in hotmail). However if I mark an email as not spam/move to inbox in thunderbird (desktop) it doesn't get forwarded on, stays in the hotmail inbox.

I have just moved another message (telling me I'd signed in here) from my spam to inbox using thunderbird android and it has appeared in my hotmail inbox - so I suspect the attachment might be the issue?

Any advice of how I can get it back? (and also what exactly caused the issue) I have searched both email accounts (including trash and spam and all mail) and it isn't appearing anywhere... searched/looked in thunderbird desktop and both email accounts online and it has gone ... Thanks

Android app is Missing Spam Folder. A Yahoo filter on the server moves important emails to the spam folder. The spam folder does not sync with my other folders. Yahoo places these messages inside the Thunderbird app but they cannot not be read, I cannot find the folder, I cannot sync the folder, and the app does not give any other option on the setting panel. On my phone I have to have both the Firebird and the Yahoo App to see all folders. How can I fix it_

Running version 21.0 on Android 17.

Emptied my trash just this morning. Worked fine. Went to do it tonight, said yes to the confirmation and it just sat there. No deletion. Sent a test message from another acct and that arrived fine, so it's not having problems accessing my server via IMAP.

I just downloaded your app (thunderbird) to download some important emails for my lawyer about my SSDI case.

I moved all of the ones I needed to a folder of their own.

I went into your app, found them and apparently clicked something that made them all disappear, it was not "delete" or the trashcan icon.

I've googled and everything I read tells me to go to the trash folder. I do not have a trashcan folder.

Please help.

I hope the Mozilla support team will read that post too.

I use Thunderbird on my Android Handy. Last Update a Spam-Choice was implemented to the Dropdown Menu when selected a mail. The Problem: The Spam Choice is too near to the Move Choice, so that a mistakenly mark as Spam happens very often. Can you please put the the Spam Choice to the end of the Dropdown Menu? Thanks a lot!
