I DL'd LibreOffice. I went to Writer to create a master grocery shopping list. I figured I'd use a Table. It asked me if I wanted to Create a Database. I figured yeah, I'm going to probably create all kinds of grocery shopping lists. Per store. Per item. I want to cross reference items to compare. Perhaps keep records of store price and best sale price with date of sale. I don't know what is possible yet. Anyway, to create a LIbreWriter Database it errored that I needed to install a JAVA JRE. Java says FF doesn't support it.

It linked to Oracle whereby I could not find a comparable DL to JRE.

Support.mozilla seems to have been saying do it offline with a bunch of complicated workarounds.

I just want to do something simple to fix this. I have to do a complicated update for Win7 to 8 or 10, then to 11 and have been preparing backups on my 2TB HP with an already partitioned hard drive so I don't have time to mess around (plus medical issues make it difficult to do most days. I mention this because perhaps Win11 will factor into your reply.

What's the best thing to do? DL a specific/different Office Style Suite to work with FF? If so which? What's the safest way to go? Thank you for your advise.

I cannot access certain email documents because my pop up is blocked. I have tried a number of searches as to where to disable the pop up for firefox but keep hitting dead ends.

Very upset...FF update took some info but lost years of info (history, book marks, cookies etc) AND DOES NOT WORK!

I have updated before no problem with transfer of emails, folders, address books, settings, history, cookies etc BUT THIS LATEST UPDATE HAS LOST ME SO much information AND IT DOES NOT WORK AT ALL. Program opens but does nothing except greying out with (not responding) and closes. Done reinstall twice an with no applications running. Kindly send me 10 year old version so I can roll back to something that works. Regards Rick

I upgraded from 67(?) to 115.2.1esr 32 bit and all the tabs were lost after the restart, ok, i understaqnd that. But when i went into settings the "Open previous windows and tabs" is dimmed and cant be set on

really like this ability but cant set the faint option, Watch do I need to do? FF has been my only browser for 18 or so years - please help

Hi, I have spent hours this morning trying to diagnose a problem with Firefox Update 115. It is Unstable and I can't Stream Music from Youtube or even Amazon Music. Web pages from sites I use everyday are out of order when displaying text as well. It's a real mess. Now, here's the kicker, I haven't been able to stream my music from both aforementioned websites, but get this, if I use the Incognito Browser, Music streams No Problem. Seems like you guys broke something in the main FF browser. I have spent hours trying to debug this and have concluded that your most recent Update has broken streaming links. I can't rollback the Update and that is even more frustrating. Please Fix This. BTW, your Help Pages really stink. Sorry, but they offer no help when the problem is clearly FF. I migrated from a very old Windows 7 system to a recent Windows 11 one. I'm using the most recent version of Firefox developer edition on the new version. To use my old settings, I copied my old profile folder to the new machine. Everything worked out fine, however, I still have the "incombatibility" badge on the menu panel (see screenshot). Is there any way to get rid of this?

I have downloaded Firefox 113.0.1 for Windows x64 but the file seems to be corrupt. When I check the installation file with 7Zip Test Archive appeared a Warning Message due to a Checksum error. All others versions of Firefox downloaded can be checked correctly by 7Zip, but this installation file show an error message that I never have received. Is there a problem with the file? Thanks

Hello: I'm on Windows 7 on one of my devices, and using Firefox 115.0.2. When I try to update to 115.0.3 the update fails. I'm directed to download the ESR version

QUESTIONS:

1) Will I lose features, add-ons, extension I now have if I go to the ESR?

2) Will I still be able to sync the Firefox on win7 with Firefox on a windows 10 device?

So I was setting up Firefox and accidentally imported data from a different browser than I intended to and I don't know how to remove all the bookmark and auto fill that I had imported. I have tried deleting the Firefox file in window explorer and it didn't work. Is there anyway to completely wipe Firefox clean?

I always was a fan of firefox 56.0. When ever the updates are available I decline. I got it before and had to redo some stuff the way I like it. I have heard others complain about these problems and now youtube is all messed up. Where I have my tabs there is some discoloration and the tabs are missing a lot of sites I had in them, I guess my computer did the latest update. How can I go back to FF 56.0?

FF would start to load but never completely finish so I forgot & stupidly did the troubleshooting mode or w/e that put me back to default so LOST all my settings, etc.. Strangely it's back "close" to normal except I was using Passbrow which the icon shows on toolbar but greyed out & I can't get it to turn back on. I have the "Old FF Data" folder but following the steps it doesn't show where profile is stored for me to be able to copy the old data TO. IF I can restore the old profile hopefully that would get it back working ALL as it was...but HOW??
