Whenever I use Firefox to open sites like Google and Yahoo they appear with foreign languages like Spanish and Indonesian. Sometimes it asks me if I want translation. My default location on Firefox (weather) is in Argentina. When I open the default location to my settings, they show English (US) as the default language. I also can't change my default location to Los Angeles, California, USA.

During choosing online Translate Language Beta Version An option then from language mostly langauges available but from English to PUNJABI that is no longer made available online, offline or to say translate page/webpage not available in bilingual version from any language to Punjabi or usually to say from english to online, offline punjabi version not there even in firefox setting checked all options but still not found there anymore.!?

I usually want spellchecks "English (United kingdom, large)" and "German (Germany)" active. Every few days to weeks it changes to a (single) random other language instead, like "German (Luxembourg)". Posts I've found elsewhere suggest changing display language (which should be unrelated and is already set to UK English), uninstalling all other dictionaries system-wide (which should not be necessary and is not acceptable), reinstalling Firefox entirely (but that's for cases where the correct dictionary was never selectable, I can select it, it just doesn't stay for long) or issues with syncing with other devices (but I don't change that setting on other devices, either). How do I stop spellcheck from changing and why does this even happen?

I do not live in Estonia, I don't know estonian, I don't have estonian set as a language anywhere in firefox or any other settings, I don't have any estonian language packs downloaded, the only time I was involved with it was when I accidentally clicked on 'estonian' instead of 'english' when trying to translate a page (once, I clicked on it accidentally once as far as I remember, one single time and no more. Only one time this happened. Once), and it somehow just can not cease asking me to translate pages to estonian, anything that isn't in english, somehow it tolerates that. Actually how does this happen and how do I fix it

Soprry, was ist hier los ? schon tausendmal instaliert und nun weil ich als zweite Tastatur englisch habe, krige ich hier alles in Englisch! In Win 11 24H2 steht in der Tastleiste deutsch. wo stelle ich die Spache um.

My primary google account's language is set to english. If I search normally, then the results are shown in english. If I open a private window and search in google, the results will try to be in the regional english and google asks if I want to switch to english every time.

My firefox shows different time zone on calender when i want to sign up for events, while my macbook shows the right time. How can i fix it?

In the last few days, my Firefox has been changing languages on its own. Today, after an update, a language like Swedish or something similar appeared.

Unfortunately, it seems that the Italian language no longer works. I tried other languages, and when I restart Firefox, they work. I try the Italian language, and it never works.

Why is that?

Firefox is ignoring my preferred language and using the Japanese versions of every single website I go to. My only preferred language is English, there is NOTHING else. This has been happening for months now, and the only way I've found to deal with this is to turn on a VPN, and I don't want to have to turn on a VPN every time I'm using this search engine. Just to add extra information, I live in Japan, this wouldn't happen if I were in the US, but I'm not in the US, and the search engine knows that, and keeps putting me on Japanese websites. This is getting really frustrating and it seems like the settings cannot do anything. Also I am aware there is a translation feature, but it takes long to load depending on the page, isn't accurate, and doesn't translate everything.

Hallo, ich habe nun schon mehrfach versucht meine Sprache im Settings umzustellen. Habe mich genau an die Anleitung gehalten. Aber ich bekomme einfach nicht die Sprache umgestellt. Ich will es auf Deutsch umstellen aber es bleibt alles beim englisch. Ich habe Cache schon gelöscht, habe meinen VPN ausgeschaltet und mehrfach den PC hochgefahren. Was läuft da bei mir falsch. Da ich kein englisch kann ist es etwas schwierig hier alles dann zu verstehen. Ich benutze Linux Ubuntu. Danke für die Hilfe.

Nach dem Update vom Oktober kann Firefox nicht mehr auf Deutsch angezeigt werden. Die Umstellung auf Deutsch in den Einstellungen haben keine Wirkung. Was ist zu tun?

Firefox: Sprache ein Mischmasch aus Deutsch/Englisch. Trotz dass die Einstellungen nur auf Deutsch, sind die Menüs in Englisch! Wie bekomme ich es hin, dass ALLES nur in Deutsch ist?

It only happens on some websites (Wikipedia for one) and doesn't happen anywhere else in my system. I was unable to root out the reason for this and all solutions seem to be for when there are boxes instead. I don't see boxes, only Russian letters for some reason.
