Why has this started up again? Pdf files are automatically downloading to my computer when all I want to do is look at the file. So many files that now need to be trashed after looking at them. This problem has happened in the past, but was resolved, only now I am finding it happen again. I do not want to have files saved unless I want to save them, not Firefox deciding that any file I open should be saved. I have Windows 11 & Firefox Version 113.0.1. Is there a way to revert to an older version of Firefox?

I have downloaded Firefox 113.0.1 for Windows x64 but the file seems to be corrupt. When I check the installation file with 7Zip Test Archive appeared a Warning Message due to a Checksum error. All others versions of Firefox downloaded can be checked correctly by 7Zip, but this installation file show an error message that I never have received. Is there a problem with the file? Thanks

Hello,

  I got a driver error message on the computer and it said to restart to fix the driver problem. 
  When I restarted the link to firefox would not work from the start menu or the tashbar.
   I reinstalled firefox and went to migrate the settings, passwords etc and the old firefox does not show up.

   I then searched the hard drive and there is still information for firefox, one about 1.2GB, so it must be in there some where.

   Any ideas where I could look for the settings?

   My computer died about a month ago and I just set this one up so I really do not want to go through the hassle of getting all the passwords and favourite sites set up again.

   Also having problems getting the thunderbird settings and messages to migrate from the bad HDD, but that is another problem for now.

  Any suggestions welcome.

HELP! Every download fails. Everytime. I have disabled antivirus , changed security settings in browser settings. Still no good. I don't want to switch to the Edge browser which is working great at downloads right now.

For work reason, I need to use specifically Firefox version 68.3. Unfortunately, I couldn't use it on my Mac M1 (Ventura 13) as it always crashes and refuses to open.. Please anyone can help me with this? Thank you!

I downloaded my bookmarks from my Desktop. I emailed the file to my laptop. How do I integrate this new .html file into my laptop? When I open the .html file, it comes up with a very nice list of my websites by name and they show as a link. Now I need to get them from the .html file and merged into the laptop. Can anyone point me toward the right help files on Firefox or tell me how to do it? Thanks a lot in advance. Mark

Since I agreed to a Foxfire upgrade ~5-11-23, I can't open Foxfire. I get this message "Error: Platform Version 113.0 is not compatible with minVersion >= 113.0.1 or maxVersion <=113.0.1".

Please help, I have a lot stored on Foxfire.

Firefox is the browser I use casually. I recently found out about Firefox Quantum. I go to download Firefox Quantum from the mozilla website at https://mozilla.org/firefox/browsers/quantum. And when I click on the download button, It takes me to the same download page as regular Firefox. Did Firefox and Firefox Quantum Merge at some point in time? No article seems to help.

I'm restoring from time machine backup in mac and cannot get firefox to work. I have located the profile folder and the error message I get when I try to open firefox is: "Your Firefox profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible."

I do not know where to move the folder to in order to get firefox to work. I did not rename the folder. I went through Library to Application Support to find the profile...now what do I do to get firefox to work? Do I need to move the folder? Where to? Should I just delete the firefox folder in App Support, then import my Chrome profile to Firefox after I download it again? Will that even work?

my firefox opens in a vertical minimized window, when I click to maximize it just moves the window. I have to click on it a 3rd time to get it to maximize. I've checked the settings, but I can't see how to adjust this irritation.bold text
