Hi! I´m using Jdownloader2. After an update of Firefox the captcha-extension of JDownloader didn´t work anymore. I reinstalled Firefox, but adding the extension is still prevented. Following quote appears: "Firefox hat die Website daran gehindert, Sie zu fragen, ob Software installiert werden soll" It should be in yellow (but it isn´t), like following site describes: https://support.mozilla.org/de/kb/Add-ons-koennen-nicht-installiert-werden#w_firefox-hat-die-website-daran-gehindert-sie-zu-fragen-ob-software-installiert-werden-soll Furthermore there should be a button to authorize the installation. Instead there is only the button "OK". I followed the help-site mentioned above to the letter, to no avail. By the way, I´m using Nightly now, but JDownloader2 automatically wants access to Firefox. When the new update arrived yesterday, I started getting multiple popups from McAfee & Mozilla. Three stay on the screen at once, and when I X one, another appears instantly. This appears to be a scam trojan, but 3 different excellent anti-virus programs have not found anything. This never happened until the latest update. What do you know about this? I don't want to uninstall & start over, but what other suggestion do you have? p.s Usually when I right click on one of them, it takes me to a McAfee ad. I just clicked on one that gave me the option to turn off notifications. That seemed to stop it, at least for now. Am I the only one with this problem? [redacted email from community support forum]

Firefox created a folder "Old Firefox data" on my desktop which is impossible to delete. I am getting an error "Access denied" even when trying to delete it as administrator. How can I delete this folder?

The current version of Firefox is very frustrating to use. It often will not let me enter a password but will send me to the saved passwords. I do not want to put all my passwords on the computer. I have 2 U tube accounts, and the new Firefox will not let me enter the account info directly, but sends me to Google. I have had to resort to using Microsoft Edge out of sheer frustration with Firefox. Previous versions of Firefox did not have these problems

When I started up Windows 11 on my new laptop, I had to connect to the web via Edge to be able to install Firefox. I foolishly went on to install Firefox via Microsoft Store. I have now installed Firefox from the Mozilla website via the Microsoft Store version, but I cannot uninstall the Microsoft Store version. I don't have access to the folder where it is installed even though I log on as an administrator.

updates are happening at random times even when I am on line in the middle of important things. i want to schedule updates for 12 am midnight for any updates that may arise. please email me a detailed message on how to accomplish this as i am not a computer whiz kid. thank you for your time and expertise
