Hello. I was curious and allowed accuweather but now I regret that and want to get rid of it. But I cannot find it anywhere on my Firefox account, I have been loking everywhere but cannot find anyway to delete accuweather. It feels like a malware and I cannot get rid of it. Please help. I have an old Laptop which works perfectly for what I need, and I use Firefox for my Browser.

I had to shutdown my Laptop and everything seemed Ok on reboot. However, I can no longer access my Gmail account as I apparently "need Chrome" to get access...?

Do I? If so - how do I get it installed on my system?

Another Windows update, another instance of Firefox bookmarks being inaccessible :-( "The bookmarks and history system will not be functional because one of Firefox's files is in use by another application. Some security software can cause this problem." Now what? What are we supposed to do? Is Firefox doing anything about this problem, since it's become a regular occurrence? Help, please!

The last time Firefox updated I lost all my bookmarks. Tried using the restore tool and it didn't work. Tried restoring from my USB drive, didn't work either. Can you PLEASE help??

My computer (pc-windows 10) keeps freezing. Today, when this happened I launched Task Manager and discovered Firefox had opened 68 instances (I had one window open) and was using up 100% of my Core i7 CPU. I was on YouTube at the time.

I'd like to stay with Firefox as I have been using it for years, but this is happening all too often. Is there a way to limit the number of instances that it will generate?

I would like to browse the archive of articles that appear with a fresh set every day on the Firefox home screen. Is the archive available? If not, can Firefox make it available for all the users? I am sure that I am not the only one interested in browsing the archive of articles and reading those that interest them.

The last time Firefox updated my Etsy Dashboard would no longer connect. None of the screens I need for my shop would work. Etsy support had me clear my cache and I even did a refresh of Firefox but it still would not work. Etsy's conclusion was it had to be a Firefox issue and they could not help. I had to switch to Chrome to continue working. At some point the issue went away and Etsy's dashboard was working again. Now, after the most recent update it immediately was no longer working again and I am forced to use a different browser. What could be causing this issue related to the updates?

I've installed FF on new computers a few times in the past year and I've noticed that it never syncs the Search settings (things like default search engine, adding StartPage, etc.). Is that by design? Is there a way to make them sync?

Solved, there is delay of 15 minutes before password appear on other device.

I've labelled this thread as (dec 2025) as there is a lot of issues dating back to years ago so this is mark it down just as a fresh review of the issue.

The only thing I'm looking from a browser is to sync Passwords between Phone and Desktop and for whatever reason Firefox is not doing it. Absolutley nothing gets synced even though both windows 10 and Android browsers have been sync manually with all of the options to be synced.

I've followed all the others people checks of settings, account login etc. and I'm just giving up for now.
