I tried to watch a youtube livestream today and it failed to play. Non-live videos on youtube are playing, even the same videos watched as VODs after the stream ends, but the livestreams are providing "Your browser can't play this video" errors.

Simultaneously, I'm noticing that some videos on Reddit (such as embedded tiktok videos) are stuck with a circling ring and won't play. At least some of the same videos will play on Tiktok (when I can find them).

ALSO, when I try to watch videos on my Nebula subscription, I'm getting a "This video could not be loaded: 4" error code. ANY video on Nebula.

What the heck gives?!

Is there a way to enable using both a default pattern as well as a custom image for the background on Firefox Color? I really want to enable both but it is making me choose one or the other. Please help me do this or enable the ability to do so.

I was having trouble with Firefox freezing and needed to close it with Task Manager and reopen it whenever this happened. On one of these restarts, only a few of my windows opened up with the new session. All of the other open windows vanished. They're not in my history or my recently closed windows at all. There are three specific windows of the lost windows that had data I was actively using and don't want to lose. The URLs would be enough. I was also using the other windows, but I can re-find that information easily enough.

I am having this issue where Firefox only keeps "Today's" history. I have thoroughly looked at the community's similar issue fixes.

I do not have Private Browsing on. I have set "Custom Settings History:

 -Remember browsing and download history
 -Remember search and form history

I do not have CC Cleaner or like apps and the one I do is on auto-manual and does not clear FF.

There is no reason for this. I would like to know when answering, what are a couple of likely causes for this. It appears by many queries here and on Google this has been an issue for years and FF seems not to want to fix it or know about it. Your help is appreciated.

Title. I've followed every guide I've found but the issue still persists. I've created a new profile, reinstalled ff after deleting the whole file from my pc, deleted all cookies for a dozen times, disabled all extensions, started ff in that problem mode or whatever it's called and I still can't login to certain websites.

I type my login credentials, press "continue" and nothing happens.

I hate how much information Google gathers from their users but I used Chrome for five or more years and I never had this issue with their browser. Not once. Even now I constantly have to go back using Chrome because with it I have no issues logging in to the sites while on FF I just can't.

What is going on?

This only happens when clicking a link from an email in Thunderbird most of the time it is a news platform. I have to copy the link and open a new tab in Firefox to have it work.

Every time I try to login to my bank using Firefox New Private Window I get a message "Unable to login. Try again later." But if I then switch to Microsoft Edge browser using its private window I have no problem, no delay, in logging in. It has occurred to me that Edge is deliberately blocking or somehow delaying my login attempt with Firefox. Could this be?

Despite having an active subscription with access to ChatGPT-4, the interface only shows an 'Upgrade' option instead of the 'Refer a Friend' feature, which suggests that my subscription isn't being recognized properly. Additionally, whenever I try to send a message in the chat, I receive an error stating, 'Our systems have detected unusual activity from your system. Please try again later.' I haven't encountered these issues on other browsers. Could you please provide assistance or guidance on how to resolve these problems with Firefox?"

I am wondering if this is an issue of Firefox or ChatGPT, any resolution on this?

Suddenly, now on FF 119.0.0.1, JPEG Images no longer open in new tab when clicked with mid-mouse-button (previous behaviour, wanted), instead they get downloaded, safed to DL-folder, and maybe opened in 3rd-party-app. I tried to change the Open-with settings, but to no avail - there's no option to 'Open in Firefox'/Internally. (Only Open with../Download)

I've tried older guides on the topic, which didn't apply here it seems, also cleaned cache, etc.
