The last time I downloaded your update, I think it was in May, 2022, you apparently downloaded the version for Windows 10. It would not work with my windows 7. By the time I got it fixed I had lost ALL my bookmarks, history, etc. Now you are offering the latest download, I believe it is July. I am afraid to download it for fear I might lose all my bookmarks again. Can I just ignore the download. I DO NOT want to go to Windows 10 or 11. I am 95 years old and I like to stick to what I know. What is the situation with you and Windows 7 at this time? Are you no longer offering it? Thanks for your help. I have had Firefox since Firefox 1.0 (October 2004). In fact I still have the original instruction manual and the disk. I am not too good with the computer and have just starting using Firefox. I will do my best to describe my question so please bar with me. I have 2 rows of websites that I frequent...actually only using the first row and 5 spaces in the second row. When I go to a different website Firefox is automatically adding that website to one of the boxes in the second row which I do not want. How do I stop this? Question 2...using Ebay as an example...if I keep searching on Ebay and have looked at lets say 5 different pages how do I go back to the home screen without having to hit the back button 6 times? 1) Cannot restore them even after logging into account with same email address. 2) Windows.old does not exist. 3) Tried %APPDATA% method to use "Gibberish".default folder for profile recovery. (Might need some guidance here but overall it did not work too.

Firefox was always logged in with same email account and it should've synced all the data.

I want to import everything from avast secure browser, but ASB does not show in the browsers option. Is there a roundabout way to import everything(passwords, bookmarks etc)?

There was an update download recently. Did something change that prevents me from seeing this website: https://vk.com/video/@miselet It takes forever to load and blinks on and off the whole time. When it finally loads, I click on a day's videos and all it does is give me an error message. I had no problem with that site in May when I watched the daily videos from the May sumo tournament.

I have close to 2000 bookmarks. There are organized into folders. I want get ride of the folder structure and have all bookmarks on together in one place - no nested folders.

I could click, hold, drag and drop but would be time consuming as I have too many folders.

How do unest all folders and keep all bookmarks together in single place?

I reset the laptop and lost the bookmarks. It originally reset to Edge but I downloaded Firefox. I have gone to the square of horizontal lines, clicked on Bookmarks, Manage Bookmarks, Import and Backup, Restore. The only date that shows is today's date. What else can I try?

MacOS FF dev edition 102: I have a folder in my bookmarks toolbar, and I frequently open all of them in tabs. But that option is missing from the context menu on the folder. It is there at the bottom of the folder if I click to open the folder, but this is silly. There is an "open all bookmarks" context menu option on the folder, but that opens all the bookmarks in the toolbar, not in that one folder. why is this?

I upgraded my FF browser to 102.5.0 esr and lost all my bookmarks. The upgrade saved old data Users\.....\Desktop\Old Firefox Data\naaf009b.default-esr\bookmarkbackups - however the json file looks like is overwritten or cannot be inmported to FF browser - When I do Import - backup - the current file is backed up but the old file is not found...

Is there any sam=ne way to get my bookmarks back? I was not signed into my browser either.

Congratulations! You have made both Firefox and Thunderbird unusable. With the latest Firefox screwed up update I can no longer get my bookmarks to show in a column on the left side of my screen. With Thunderbird I can no longer get my addressed to show when I try to send an email. Will you please unfuck your upgrades. I will now have to use another supplier. Guess I won't be sending any money to support mozilla.

Have a serious problem - all my bookmarks are gone from Firefox. I went to restore (it shows 498 bookmarks from various dates) but when I go to restore it is not successful. HELP. I am lost without these bookmarks!!

All the icons on the taskbar when I open up Firefox have disappeared... and I now have the same "world" type symbol for everything. I've Googled and followed instructions, but I'm not seeing what the instructions are telling me to look for, so I can't make the changes.

Can you please send me a step-by-step on how to resolve this. I can't even 'open a page in a new tab'. That function has also disappeared.  ?????

I don't know what could have caused this. Would appreciate your help.

Is there a way to create categories on Bookmarks Toolbar?

I have many bookmarks and I just want to organise them by naming the front of the row. I might need to add empty spacers too. For example, Banking - has about 8 bookmarks, then new row will be Crypto - 11 bookmarks, Social Media - 4 bookmarks, News - 6 bookmarks and so on.

I have searched for this everywhere but no answer as yet. Does anyone have trick they use to achieve something similar to above?

In Chrome I can browse my bookmark tree, right click on a folder and "Add Page", which directly adds the current URL to that folder. Firefox shows only "Add (a blank) Bookmark", "Add Folder", etc. No way to add the current page. Is there a way to add that I'm not seeing, other than dragging the URL physically?
