It's not possible to switch Google accounts for Gemini in the AI Chatbot toolbar. When I select another Google account in the chatbox, the browser redirects to https://gemini.google.com, but the AI chatbot continues to use my default Gemini account, see the attached screenshot.

Ai overview is painfully inaccurate and I am hoping to find a way to disable it on my google searches, if that is not possible, what search engine would you recommend?

I would like sign in using a Yubi Key, and without using a smart phone. (this should also include having a spare Yubi Key) The whole reason I got a Yubi Key is I don't have or want a smart phone (I do have one but it sits a home doing nothing). I also don't think its a wise move to have my login mechanism that authenticates me on an internet accessible general computing device. If that gets compromised then my account is compromised.

But when I tried to add 2FA to my account it asks me to use an authentication app. I stopped there when I get to my phone I might try and see if I can get around it. I don't want to use an authentication app I just want to use a Yubi Key.

Also what will happen to my account if one day my phone just stops working or I lose it?

Why is something claiming to be McAfee telling my that my Firefox browser is infected? And it's showing me a renewal notice when I do not have McAfee. It's all very annoying. If I download a new Firefox will that fix it?

when i try to reinstall using an older version I am currently. using 68.12.1 and itried reinstalling because windows said there is no app associated with this. i tried reinstalling 68.12.1 and i got the following message and lost my addresses and contacts. i also get this message see attachment. i do not want the newer version. how do i reinstall this version and not have to start from scratch

In new Windows 11 I created a Folder named General. In there I placed non urgent received e. mails. Now I cannot find it. It used to be in the small window left hand side where folders such as Bin, Scams, Sent are. (Been through also Application Basics where my profile is.) Thanks for any help.

Google provides a different key to differentiate installed copies of Google Chrome (standard or "Google Chrome for Work") in this file:

"/Applications/Google Chrome.app/Contents/Info.plist"

Google Chrome:

My contract with Plusnet is due to expire so I renewed it. P would not accept my password as it did not meet their standards. I added a symbol but now I am unable to sign in to Thunderbird. I have checked all my settings which have not changed except the password but still I cannot sign in to get emails. I recently came across the Thunderbird versions are being mentioned as "esr".

In 115.0 version, I see "esr" is added from the 115.10.2esr to 115.14.0esr, the latest version. I also do not see any change in the installers provided. I would like to understand what is the difference between the previous versions and the versions with "esr"?

In 128.0 version, I can see only 128.0.1esr and 128.1.0esr. Is there no normal updates? Now only esr is supproted?

I had version 115.0 installed but I was able to upgrade to 128.1.0esr without any issue. Is this supported?

When I attempt to log in to my gmail account, rXXXXXXXXXXXXXt@gmail.com, I instead get logged in to my niece's account, rXXXXXXXXe@gmail.com . I can then open and read her email, etc., and have no desire to, but more importantly cannot open my gmail account. Her account originates out of Fruita, Colorado, no where near Beaverton, Oregon, so I have no idea why my computer would try to log in to her gmail account. It is possible that she used my computer to log in to her gmail account when she was out here visiting this past summer, but your software still should not log in to her account when I ask it to go to my account, [email removed]@gmail.com. In my not very humble opinion, this is a major security breach and weakness in your software besides being a royal pain.
