I have permitted a website to access my location, but Firefox is not retaining the settings. While I am on the web site I keep getting the "Allow www to access your location" popup several times in a row and the website still reports that I need to enable the option. This is happening to all websites, not only this specific one.
What I have done thus far:
Restarted Firefox Refreshed Firefox Rebooted my computer Cleared Firefox cache and cookies Confirmed under Settings/Privacy & Security/Location that the site www status is "Allow" Removed my ad block settings from my router as I don't use a local add on
I am using Firefox 116.0.2 (64bit)

Hi,
I have come across an issue where the Enhanced Tracking Protection (ETP) feature has stopped working on every single website I visit.
Every website I visit, the ETP icon is greyed out and not detecting any trackers.
For instance, when visiting the independent website, the ETP icon usually glows blue to indicate there are trackers. However, now, it is just greyed out, which is incorrect.
So far, I have done the following troubleshooting steps to fix the issue, but I have had no success:

Can someone please help me with this, as I have no idea what else to do to fix this issue?
I started Firefox from scratch with a new profile, and the ETP worked for a short period, but when I closed and restarted Firefox, it just stopped working on every single site - this keeps persisting.

The above string (ending 'bbe53') does not match with any extension on the about:support troubleshooting info page.

Hi, I'm a big fan of dark mode and avoiding bright screens. When Chrome begins to load an image slowly, generally it has a transparent background. Is there a way to remove this white loading screen in Firefox and make it transparent, or at least make it black or something? Having a big white block show up on screen is bad for your eyes. Thanks.

With no webpage up, all extensions off/uninstalled, and updates turned off(I have a policy turning it off) I randomly get a message from my firewall that Firefox is trying to access windows explorer. Given I'm not doing anything there should be no reason for it to do so, which means it is do something I don't want it to. If I block its access nothing happens other than it incessantly tries again about 20 seconds later. It can get rather demanding and request access a few times then stop again. I don't think it is trying to do anything malicious, but outside the Firefox genie trying to contact me about 3 wishes I would like it to stop. Any ideas what it might be trying to do/access?
It basically comes down too I've really hit my filled up point on too many developers deciding what is best for me and what I want done on my PC. My google fu didn't seem to be up to finding any information on what it might be doing and I found no help topics on it here. Ff doubly made me hit it with overly complicating simply turning off automatic updates and having to dig for how to do it.

Hey, since 2 months firefox started crashing when a video comes to the end. I tried it in troubleshoot mode skipped to min 10:45/10:50 and played. after this 5 sec it just crashed. I noticed it on youtube but tried it on other players and it also happened. Today I also started a video on a other website and it crashed but not when starting youtube videos.

Hello. We use Firefox at our work and are having issues with Heartland Payroll. It seems to use Microsoft's cloud and the issue we're having is that it won't send the text message in order for us to verify the browser. It seems to happen on occasion and they try to blame Firefox and tell us to use Chrome. I tried turning off all addons and site tracking protections. That seemed to work on some machines and not on others so I'm not sure if that's doing anything at all. Once the text message is received we can access and use the site like normal but getting the page to send the text verification is where we can get stuck. Thank you for any help you can give.

On some webpage, I experience delay response when I trying to search sometime. For example, in Google homepage after typing something or even gibberish the page froze and not responding for about 10 second but the browser is still functioning (meaning I can still move other tabs or open option). Once that 10s delay is over, it responded with my result. And something when I when to search back something again(not in the homepage), more of the time is response back fast like 0.2s but other time the same 10s delay. This problem also happens in some other website but not all in their search bar. I have try in safe mode. disable all my extension, reinstall Mozilla Firefox, check any windows update and such. Also other browser does not have this problem such as chrome and brave. If this problem still persisting then I would such to other browser but prefer not to as I quite fond of Firefox. I am still unable to use Keeper Ext. When I go to sign on screen for any of my saved websites, place the mouse in the sign on screen, nothing comes up for me to click on as before. On automated sights, nothing happens either. Can you advise estimated completion time?

YouTube videos on Firefox getting slower and jerky. After refreshing Firefox (Settings -> Help -> More troubleshooting information -> Refresh Firefox), it is OK, but only for a short while. Then the problem starts again. Same YouTube videos are running fine with Chrome at the same time.
