I've attached a screen shot of the main folders seen when I view these as 'Unified Folders' with folders names starting with *01, *02, *03 etc. Somehow, *04 is no longer appearing in this list and has instead appeared inside the *03 folder as seen in my second screen shot. I don't know how this folder and the many sub-folders it contains was moved into the *03 folder and no matter what I do, I can't move the *04 folder out of the *03 folder to sit where it should between folders *03 and *04. Can anyone point me in the right direction to move the *04 folder into the desired location? Thanks in advance, SteveJ

Oddly, when I tried to create a NEW folder using the same name, BOGUS AI PRAISE-MKTING-BOOK CLUB BULLSHIT, it did not work. I created a folder with a simpler name, AI BULLSHIT, and that worked. But I had over 400 emails stored in the folder that disappeared, and I would like them back.

I have just installed Thunderbird on my Android phone and using my desktop Thunderbird exported my email address to the Thunderbird mobile. This worked OK. Just for the record, this is my first time with Android version of the Thunderbird, and I can't find the inbox folder. Could you please guide me how to do it? Many thanks.

Wouldn't it be nice if we could filter all emails in our INBOX by their date received/sent, then Select All, and move them to an Archive folder? If only by YEAR, say 2023, then into that Archive sub-folder - this would make emptying one's INBOX easier. Or am I an idiot, and this is already possible?

I cannot add my work email, [edited from public] @cesconsult.com, to Thunderbird. I receive the error message enclosed. My password and username is correctly being entered, I have done this several times but receive the same error message.

I am new to Thunderbird (just since this past weekend). I cannot figure out how to add a new folder to my folders. I need to file some emails on a new subject that I want to keep. Thank you for your help.

I deleted thunderbird mail and reinstalled it. My folders on the left will not open, but the messages appear in Quick Filter. I can send mail out ok. I do not want to use Quick Filter to access the mail folders. I tried doing the repair on each folder and did not help. I'm older 89 and not very computer savvy. I do not even have a cell phone. I would really appreciate it if anyone can help me with this. Thank you very much. Bob

I just got thunderbird. I want to empty my sent folder. It shows over 800 folders and I'd like to get them off my computer. I've looked through all the faqs and cannot find any answer that addresses this. I did read one that said I should check "unified folders" then I could do it. I did check it and still can't figure out to do it. Please help I am quite distressed.

I run my BTinternet mail account via Thunderbird and would like to run my two Gmail accounts via Thunderbird too. Do I just do that by clicking on the + New Account button, please? I'd hate to lose access to my BT mail by doing that. (Switched to Thunderbird from Outlook a year ago and have never regretted it!

My question is, whether or not the android Thunderbird will interact with the windows Thunderbird I have on my laptop. On my laptop, I have Thunderbird redirect emails into various folders. On my cellphone, I'm currently using Fairemail but it's not aware of those folders on my laptop which is a problem when doing a search on my cell for a specific email, if the email I'm looking for has migrated to those folders on the laptop. When I accessed TB it updated to an ESR (Eclipse) version and when I load it I get a message saying I've used an old version, would I like to create a new profile. ( I didn't) I've copied my backup to the profile but many folders are missing from the current profile.

How do I get all my folders to display? I've reinstalled TB version 147 without the ESR option.

i still can't believe there is no way to print emails in your mobile app. I even downloaded the beta, but it also gave me no way to print an email. What's my money going to? I've seen many people ask for this its such a basic operation. I'm hoping you will get this, or I will have to change to another program

Bonjour, J'ai créé une nouvelle adresse gmail, qui fonctionne depuis le site de google. Quand je souhaite l'inscrire pour l'utiliser via Thunderbird (nouveau compte/adresse mail), tout se passe bien et j'obtiens le message "Configuration trouvée dans la base de données des FAI de Mozilla". Je clique ensuite sur Terminé et j'arrive à une fenêtre "se connecter avec Google" qui affiche ma nouvelle adresse mail. Quand je clique sur "suivant", j'obtiens le message "erreur 400 - le serveur ne peut pas traiter la requête, car son format est incorrect". Pouvez-vous m'aider ? Merci d'avance. Laurent Lapchin
