Forward or reply without raw HTML code but not without all formatting

Thunderbird 151.0 (64-bit)
I don't want all the raw code included in my reply/forward, just the readable text in a format similar to the original. GMail handles this with no issues, so how can I get the same in Thunderbird? Thanks.
