Firefox fails to start even after reinstall
On one computer I have deleted everything from Firefox including the folders within Apps Roaming except for one folder. There in one folder "41A66E7EE5E1" within Profiles which I cannot delete. It holds the files prefs.js and sessionCheckpoints.json which were created at 20/02/2021 and I cannot delete those.
My new installation is dated 24/07/2021.
There is nothing in the properties of those two files to suggest an issue. I do find however that when I seek to change the Property/Security to Administrator (I should be able to do that) I receive a dialog box that "the file or directory is corrupted and unreadable".
Please advise on how I address this.

I have since solved this issue. It is seems that the corruptions were not to do with Firefox although Firefox was being directed there.
I'm not sure how it worked but running chkdsk /f c: got me out of the problem. I had to rely upon MSDos at the command line and even then I had to somehow apply "elevated" entry/privileges.
Anyway this is solved.
