Because the old Thunderbird add-on 'startupmaster' is still active, I still have to enter a password if I want to log in to Thunderbird.

I can't find the add-on anywhere to remove it.

my understanding it the startup master only prevented the display o the user interface until the master password was entered. So I guess you need to turn that off.
