I don't know if that is the right title for the question. But here is the case. I have few tabs opened in my Firefox. I need to download something from this filehosting that the address is wrapped with some url shortener. For example, I open http://sh.st/qeQINy on one of the tabs (or new tabs, doesn't matter), then the countdown begins before it shows a "skip this ad" button to continue to the desired filehosting. But if I change tab focus (clicking other tab than the one with the countdown) while the countdown is underway or if I minimize Firefox, that countdown is paused. The countdown will resume if the focus is back or when I click the tab with the countdown again. Now my question is how to stop that? What do I have to do so that the said countdown will keep counting down even if I change tab focus (or click other tabs). Thank you.
