I don't know why, but when I use Firefox with java websites, like stock brokers, the computer's resource consuming is colossal, at the point that I need to restart the computer every hour (I don' have any plugin installed). It is so annoying, that I'm going to change my broker, because their stock broker only runs with Firefox. I only use Firefox because of it.

Why does the web browser, consumes so much resources form the computers, in general? I really want to know. Currently is on of the most software that have the highest computer's resource consuming, it is unbelievable, how much resource Firefox consumes.

I' using a MAC with MacOs Sierra and the Firefox 50.0.
