No matter what I attempt, I can't make Firefox my browser with Xfinity.net as my home page.

I think I have Firefox as my browser. When I attempt to make XFinity as my home page, I can't drag it to my home page symbol. I keep on getting the Firefox Foundation in the box where my homepage should be. Any suggestions? I am using Windows 7 on a Toshiba PC.
