The same question was asked here:

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1124712

The answer was that it wasn't a Firefox problem because Facebook serves the images to Firefox. I disagree. If the 3th largest website in the world gives a poor experience using Firefox then it is a Firefox problem.

I have used multiple browsers and Firefox is to my knowledge the only one having the problem. Please look into it.

You can disagree all you want. It won't change the facts. Facebook sends content to Firefox. Firefox renders it. As I said in the other post you cannot assume that Facebook sends the same data to Chrome. Facebook is a complicated site with 10s of thousands of people working on it.

If you have specific examples about a website behaving differently based on the browser you use then reporting it to webcompat is best. https://webcompat.com/

I understand the issue and you are 100% correct. But you are looking it from a technician point of view. When the 3th largest website in the world renders poorly on Firefox then that makes it a Firefox problem. When Firefox wants to become big on the mobile platform they have to solve issues like this.

If for example Google would serve poor search results when using Firefox then it's also a Firefox problem.

I noticed its not only Facebook. It's the same with Google Image search. Firefox is the only browser that displays low resolution images. Are you sure it's not something client related?
