in win10 firefox doesn't appear as firefox, but as google, how to fix this?

I just switched to Win10. Two shortcuts to websites changed from firefox icons to internet explorer icons?!? I do not use IE. So I uninstalled and re-installed firefox. When I click on firefox, there's no firefox icon in the window, and google search engine pops up. What's going on?

Are you talking about the browser that starts, or the home page? What is running when you look at the toolbar?
