Since I didn't get any confirmation I asked the question, and I cannot find it in the database here it is again: How to remove the "notification source" information from push notifications? Basically, I want notifications to look like in older versions of firefox. Currently the "notification source" takes up over half of the notification message space, so I cannot read what's actually in the notifications. I use the notifications for tweetdeck, so I would like to be able to read whole tweet in the notification, so I don't have to go to tweetdeck for every tweet. Additional question: how to make notifications stay on the screen longer (on mac os x, if the system makes the difference - but setting the display time in system preferences didn't work for me).
