Getting suspicious request to update Adobe from files.red-1-small-button.com. It only happens when I try to go to specific websites.
The website is one of our local restaurants: Mainefishmarket.com. I was able to visit this site just a couple of days ago. Previously it had a www prefix, but when I try that I get a text only error message. Without the www I got through. Now when I try, it wants me to download: "Flash Player Update_10924i40814784-il345.exe" from http:\ files.red-1-small-button.com.
When I type in the maine.. address in the browser bar, firefox shows this address, which makes me all the more suspicious: browser-updatez.ru/?80&source=mainfishmarket.com.
Who should I contact about this? It looks like a serious attempt to take over my computer.

I think the site is hacked. When I try to load it, Firefox is redirected to
browser-updatez.ru
and is blocked by our security software. Probably best to just phone them for now!

Thanks for your reply. Glad to hear I am not the only one whom this affects.
I reported it to us-cert.gov, part of the dept of homeland security, but I can't track my report there. One good thing is they mentioned the recent update of firefox to 36.0, which I did. But it had no effect on the redirection.
My virus protection: Avast does nothing to prevent the redirection. Maybe I will call the restaurant.
