Hello, I've installed Thunderbolt and added my Outlook account. However, none of the folders I created in Outlook have been copied over. Only the standard built-in folders e.g inbox, junk, sent etc were setup in Thunderbolt with all the mail from the other folders in the inbox. This is not very helpful.

How do I set up the Thunderbolt account so that the folders (and contents) are matched with the folders (and contents) in Outlook? Thanks

Does Thunderbird have a list on the number of members you can add to create an email group. I seem to only be able to add 7. Is it possible to create a larger group - e.g. up to 50?

I have downloaded the app to tablet and phone and all I get on both is blank white screen for unified inbox phone is Samsung a52 tablet is android 15

I discovered today that much of what I had saved in Drafts has disappeared. Where can they be recovered? Why did you choose that for me without letting me say no thanks? Elsewhere you were asking about control. Real basic to feeling one has any control is things staying as you left them.

Since 15th May 2025, some of our employees PCs cannot download incoming e-mails. PC conditions (such as security condition, etc) are the same before and after 15th May 2025.

E-mails can be downloaded if I delete current account and again add the account.

However, in some of PCs, some certain e-mails can not be downloard although most of the e-mail can be downloaded.

I do not find any problem in e-mail server itself.

I doubt an problem in an installed Thunderbird software.

Hello, Not sure if my first post was published.

Over the last week non of my mails was sent to the SMTP server. I uninstalled the account to start over again.

Upon configuring the mailbox account, the MAPI step was successful.

However, configuring the SMTP server, I am receiving an error: Unexpected end of stream (view image) What is the solution?

Thunderbird does correctly mark emails I choose as spam spam. Problem is, TB fails to move these marked-as-spam emails to the selected spam folder. I've searched for cures here but nothing helps. Now what Mozilla??? See attached pics...

Everything was working fine till we lost power yesterday. I used my iPhone as a Hot Spot to get emails, but couldn't send them. Power back and our server, but still not able to send emails. I have tried setting up a new security key and deleted my email account and rebuilt it with no change. Very frustrating! I need to be able to send emails out. Soon! Attached are the messages I get. Nothing works. Window 11 Pro

I can no longer access Thunderbird emails or send emails. I tried doing a New Account, but get a "can't find" error message. I closed down my computer and took out the battery, I deleted and reloaded Thunderbird, I did my manual settings, I did the New Account settings repeatedly, and I tried the Thunderbird look up. Nothing gets my email back. Everything else works on my computer as it should. Gmail works and my link to my IP gets me email through their site. I can't send or receive at all, and my previous emails are now gone.

How can I put "Write" up into toolbar? I bought a new Windows 11 computer and the "Write" box does not appear in the toolbar, as it does on this computer. How do I put it there? Thanks in advance. Please use WayneNrnFL@comcast.net to reply, if you can.

My Windows version of Thunderbird is missing my global folders ("Saved"). It appears in my Android version of Thunderbird.

Attached are screenshots of the available folders for the email account's webmail app, Thunderbird Windows & Android.

I am running on the latest Windows 11, Thunderbird 138.0.1 and I am on the release update channel. I am using a google email and the inbox only has 430 messages. I notice one day this message popped up:

The folder 'Inbox/USPS on jeterry3@gmail.com' could not be compacted because writing to folder failed. Verify that you have enough disk space, and that you have write privileges to the file system, then try again.

I have 630 gb free on this drive. There were only 2 emails in that folder I do not know what or where to look as this just started up. I have done a "Repair Folder" Thoughts where to go next? Thanks!

I have Version 128.5.2esr (64-bit), it says it is up to date.

So I've been noticing a couple of days now that I can no longer view messages in the message pane to the right of the screen. When I click on an email in the list on the left, the top of the pane on the right shows me the To, From, subject etc, as well as a yellow bar saying "Warning: To protect your privacy, Thunderbird has blocked remote content in this message." Then, nothing underneath this. Where it used to show the email contents. I do NOT want to have to double click every single email in my inbox to look at them in a separate tab. Most of what I get is not useful. I want to be able to click once and preview the email, then click Down to check the next one, and on and on the same as Thunderbird did it LAST WEEK.

Can someone help me get it back to working please? Thanks!

Hello, for the last week my Thunderbird android is no longer sending mail.

I revoved and add it again my mailbox. On the SMTP validation I receive this error message: Unexpected end of string

Setup is not finishing.

I'm having trouble syncing with my android phone. I am running Windows. I would like to use Magic Sync but although I've got it on my phone, I can't seem to find it on my PC. Any suggestions?
