Is there any documented way our I.T department can disable the ability to connect to or even see the Firefox VPN that is being rolled out via group policy or another settings method? Firefox is a great asset for our agency but we cannot have users having the ability to bypass our web filtering. If there's not an option currently, could we have the IP's or the servers that it runs off of so we can manually block it in our firewall?

I used Private Browsing to review a web site, and saved a couple of files to my hard drive. When I closed the Private window and went to a different page in Firefox, then used Print and "Microsoft Print to PDF", the print dialog came up with the Private window's last save location as my initial save location. It doesn't matter whether the regular Firefox window was open before or after the Private window was closed.

I am looking for an addon which displays times in different locations. I find one, FoxClock, which initially seems to meet my need. However, although the developer says its safe, and it has a Recommended badge, text in the app description says "Access your data for all websites." This may be 'honest' but it seems to be honest at the level of a thief saying "I'm going to rob you." WHY would a clock app need access to my data for all websites? Why would a clock app displaying on my desktop, not my browser, need to access any info about my data for any website? Poor coding? Lazy coding? Dangerous coding? Is this only a result of less than nuanced messaging by the developer or Mozilla, by using a generic message, rather than one which accurately states the 'access' is only for specified installation needs? Or another understandable safe reason? I'd like an explanation, since it does call into question the degree of security offered by Mozilla.

Someone claiming to be with Microsoft froze my computer until I answered whether I wanted them to know where I am at. I need protection from hackers like this. I want to be able to do a full scan on my computer.

ok this is what firefox claims you sent me this (Dangerous and deceptive content is not blocked Your exposure to scams and malware from websites is increased.) ok so you need to tell me what these websites are what malware because i dont believe any pile of yahoos what they say ? what security clearance certs do you people have ? ill tell you none ! so take you little yellow triangle and stick it where the sun dont shine and also when you put it there i will never have to be annoyed byu it again because thats all it does its a god damm annoying piece of crap thatnk you hasve a nice day

I'm blaming the latest Firefox update from a couple of days ago, since this problem only arose yesterday. Now cut off from reading and following news that I really want to receive.

I got an email, supposedly from Microsoft with an update on its terms, from a microsoft.com email address. I clicked on it and it went to a Captcha window. Trying to click on the items (in my case, bicycles in the pictures) triggered multiple warnings that my computer was under an attack and that seven viruses were reported, and I should re-up my subscription with McAffee. I had Trend antivirus enacted on my computer, but discovered the plan was ended by Best Buy and there was no update or way to continue it. I continued to get the notices and clicking on the recommendations to run scans and update McAffee continued to trigger notices of attack. I reactivated my McAffee program, rebooted my computer and opened with Microsoft Edge instead of Firefox. No notices of attack appeared. I ran Windows Update and learned my Windows Defender was current and a scan showed no viruses. The notices of attack only appear when I try to use Firefox. I tried to delete Firefox to see if reinstalling it would resolve the problem but it only allows me to "Refresh" Firefox. What is going on here?

I have been getting Mozilla Firefox pop ups that claim my computer has a Trojan virus. I have updated Windows 11 and run a full scan. My computer is clean. They are trying to force me to buy McAfee.
