I recently installed a new computer and can't create a pop3 account. BUENOS DÍAS, INSTALE EL THUNDERBIRD EN MI LAPTOP, PERO POR ERROR COPIE UNA DIRECCION EQUIVOCADA,, AL INTENTAR ELIMNIARLA NO HE PODIDO POR NINGUN MEDIO, NO ME APARACE LA OPCION "Operaciones sobre la cuenta" SOLO ME SALE UNA VENTANA CON LA OPCION ESTABLECEER COMO PREDETERMINIDA Y ELMINAR PERO AL QUERER HACERLO NO SE ELIMINA.

HE ACUDIDO A NUMEROSOS VIDEOS PERO NINGUNO FUNCIONA, ME SALE UNA VENTANA EN LA PARTTE INFERIOR DERECHA QUE INDICA QUE MOZILLA NO PUEDO CONECTAR CON SERVIDOR.

HE IDO A CONFIGURACION DEL SERVIDOR, HE SEGUIDO TODOS LOS PASOS PERO NO PUEDO ELIMINAR, QUIZAS ESTE HACIENDO ALGO MAL.

YA EJECUTE COMO ADMINITRADOR, VERIFIQUE EL TEMA DE LOS CALENDARIOS Y NADA.

ESPERO QUE ALGUIEN ME PUEDA AYUDAR, QUEDO AGRADECIDO DE ANTEMANO.

I'm trying to remove a couple accounts that I no longer use in Thunderbird. A window keeps popping up asking for a password, but the mail service is no longer available. When I click on the red delete button for that account, nothing happens. I've deleted all the mail in one of them which I was able to do as I thought I might need to do that first, but I still can't delete it after that. The other one won't even let me delete the emails. How do I delete these so I stop getting asked to put in a password for accounts that are no longer valid and I don't want anymore?

My computer crashed and cannot recover anything from it. I cannot remember where my e-mail is. I remembered Yahoo and got my account back in that but cannot remember how to get back into my Thunderbird acccount. I remember my address but that isn't doing me any good without the actual e-mail account.

A hacker got into one of my accounts. All emails to all accounts do not get past the Yahoo and Google servers and I've only been able to restore service through principal account. How can I save my data and correct the compromised settings?

Built-in VPN is an innovative idea!

After a keyboard accident I am left with this situation. Lin found the toggle problem with F8. Wxie suggested the password but the password is correct. Thanks to both of them. It seems the problem is the missing M in .com .It might be in the DNS but I don't seem to have anything to try except to try to recreate the account. If I try that I fear I will only exacerbate the situation. I have had this email for many years. This stared 08/08/2026 I have been searching daily for a solution. Like most things digital it is probably a simple fix if you know how. I don't.

I have created an account instance in account settings, and the "Test connection to server" says it is OK, but when I go to the mail tab the get messages button and New Message are grayed out an NO accounts are listed in the "folders" area. Not does it ever ask for my password to the SMTP server I have selected. I have an existing account with my own email service (Hover), and MUST connect to that. This is critical, as I need my e-mail to accomplish necessary activities.

I have installed Thunderbird for email but it was not what I thought it would be. I now want to cancel the account. However, the instructions are to Tools: Account Settings. 2. Select the account you want to remove on the left side. 3. Click the "Account Actions" button on the bottom left and choose, "Remove Account". Here is the problem. "Account Actions does not show"

I recently bought a new computer and I need to know how to register this computer to my Firefox account,. and also remove my old computer from my account and keeping the same account number.

Installed Thunderbird Setup 153.0.3 and npw when running t-bird get a prompt asking abut a 'thundermail" address. Please advise.. What is "thundermail" and why is it in my way? I am a regular donor to T-bird sent several, emails addressing the "thundermail" weirdness and thus far no reply. .

When selecting which email account to send FROM, the drop down shows a number of old email accounts. These accounts have been deleted. There are no details showing under the "account settings" or "Outgoing server." Which file stores the mail server information and where is it? I currently have around forty different email accounts across five mail servers.

Every five minutes Mozilla sends me a page asking for access to my Google account. I click "deny" and it goes away for a few minutes, but comes right back. And while it is on, I can neither send nor receive email. Is there some way to get it to go away and stay away? Thanks, Larry Wright

1) When launched, Thunderbird 140.13 has a pop-up window asking for a Host Gator login. HG has not been used or on this system over 8 years. "cloud80.hostgator.com is requesting your username and password." What would cause this window to appear and How to delete it completely?

2) Also, after the Thunderbird 140.13 installed and re-launched, an email was sent requesting to verify location and login sent from: "accounts at firefox.com". Is this a common request from Mozilla firefox / thunderbird?
