Hello Everyone,

I now do have the VPN button on my toolbar but when I click on "Turn On VPN" nothing happens. I am logged in in my Firefox profile through the VPN settings under Privacy and Security.

I am on Mac OS 15.7.7, Firefox 151.0.1.

Why am I not able to turn on the VPN?

A client of ours has recently raised an issue with with us stating where right-click, Paste does not work when adding text to a new LinkedIn post

After investigating, we have been able to reproduce the same behavior on our devices.

However, from our testing, we can right click to past on comments, messages and searches just fine

This issue appears to have started after updating to Firefox version 151.0.0. I know this as i have tested this on my work laptop, appeared to work fine then stopped working after manually updating from 150.0.3 to 151.0.0.

Please let us know if there are any known issues, additional troubleshooting steps, or if further diagnostic information would help I have attached screenshots of the issue.

I have also tested this in the Google Chrome web browser and appears to be working correctly as also seen in the screenshots.

Yesterday Firefox started crashing tabs on load of a handful of websites that are seemingly random, like Twitter and a few shopping site tabs I had open. It wasn't after a system update or anything, it just started happening while Firefox was already open and those tabs had already been open and loaded. I've tried clearing my cache, site data, reinstalling Firefox, and it still does it. Upon further investigation, it seems to be something regarding libfontconfig, and mostly specific to users of openSUSE Tumbleweed.

ive been testing out the VPN to see what all it can do but the data never seems to go down, which....im not complaining about xD but i also dont wanna get stuck with a big bill. has anyone else experienced this?

I was not given a VPN setup on restarting Firefox, and have no VPN icon in my toolbar. I have tried using customise toolbar, but there is no VPN icon to add back. Version 150.0, automatically opened to "What's New in Firefox 150" on starting Firefox, just without a new VPN icon. Thanks

With Duckduckgo set as search engine, if I type a search or go directly to duckduckgo search page the current tab crashes and the "Tab crash reporter" is displayed.

Google, Bing, etc work.

I have Duckduck privacy protections, privacy badger, and ublock origin all disabled for duckduckgo.

I noticed that the World Clock widget includes Pakistan Standard Time (PKT) but does not provide an option for Indian Standard Time (IST). This is surprising given that India has one of the world's largest internet user bases and a significantly larger population than many countries currently represented.

India operates on a unique UTC+5:30 time zone used by over 1.4 billion people, making it one of the most widely used time zones globally. The absence of IST while neighbouring time zones are available feels like a major oversight and reduces the usefulness of the widget for Indian users and anyone who regularly works with Indian colleagues, clients, friends, or family.

Please add Indian Standard Time (IST) to the World Clock widget as a standard option. Its inclusion would greatly improve the widgets global coverage and usability.

Whenever I now try open firefox, i get a verification page with old looking captcha visuals that is required to open firefox. Why and how do I remove that.

Why have YOU removed my Bookmarks Sidebar??? I have collected many bookmarks, but NOW there is NOTHING in the sidebar!! This is a rubbish way to update users - STOP IT!! I want my book marks on MY sidebar ... stop thinking YOU KNOW BETTER!! GIVE ME BACK MY BOOK MARKS! WHERE *I* WANT THEM!!

Seriously this is SO RUBBISH I will dump Firefox ... after MANY MANY YEARS!!

Using "https://www.va.gov/sign-in/?application=mhv&oauth=false&to=home" unable to login to VA Department of Veterans Affairs. Neither ID.me or Login.gov authentication will allow login. Using either of the latter, the authentication process just cycles continuously. Diagnostics included clearing cache and rebooting Firefox version 151.0.3. OS is W10. However, I was successful using Chrome. Problem began about 5 June.

Title says it. As of yesterday, my Firefox home page shortcuts (6?) are all gone. Restarted my Win 11 laptop a couple of times and no change. Can't even add any new ones. Settings allow for it but issue persists and browser is up-to-date. Shortcuts are one of the best things about using the Firefox browser...so very disappointing.

Bought a new Windows 11 computer. What sort of problems may I have transferring my data from Windows 7 Vista to windows 11. Any suggestions or instruction will be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much for your help..

My cat stepped on my keyboard and now my top bar with my tabs is only accessible when I mouse up to the top, and my taskbar is hidden entirely and can only be seen if I downsize my firefox window. What button combination do I need to press to restore my browser to its previous visibility?

So for three days now, my firefox constantly crashes. I would be reading a story online or watching a video on Youtube and then it will suddenly freeze. In videos, it'll still play the sound but the screen will freeze. I can't pause or stop it. Then either Firefox crashes and closes or I have to close it for it to stop. Sometimes, when I try opening it again, it still won't open. I used to have 50 tabs open and never ad this issue. After this, I closed all the open tabs, even deactivated a bunch of extensions, run malware detection, and still the issue continues. I don't know what the problem is. I even followed instructions and deactivated hardware acceleration options in Performance. And I have all AI options turned off too. The app also recently was updated.

Yes, I'd like to use the same account on both of my profiles.

I understand that for some users, this may be confusing.

In my case, the only reason for different profiles is that I need to use a Proxy Server for some websites, and no proxy for other websites. Manually switching proxy settings is painful, and doing so causes traffic for my other tabs/windows to go to the proxy, which I do not want.

I have a main (set of) windows (and its tabs) going straight to the internet, then I have a separate window (and its tabs) configured to go through a proxy (SOCKS5 in this case). I want all other settings, bookmarks, passwords, etc. to be identical to both. I end up having to logout of my main profile, log into the other profile to sync settings, log out of there, and log back into my main profile.

Is there a valid technical reason why an account on the same FireFox installation cannot be shared between two profiles?

I can do this on multiple computers (same account, different computers/profile), seems odd it is restricted to not allow on the same computer.

I have an alternative solution: Install FireFox natively, then install FireFox as AUR or FlatPak, but not sure this will collide as this both uses the same profile directory. Hum...

Hi I use Firefox for years (decades probably). How on earth is it possible that after an upgrade (to 151), I had to manipulate about:config in order to allow unsigned extensions to keep working? Of course, I am not dealing with DIY extensions, but with small and unknown extensions as AdBlocker or uBlock origin... It doesn't seem I am the only one... Any explanation will be warmly accepted...

I couldn't log into a site and it was suggested to 'clear cache' as follows: - settings - privacy and security - cookies and site data - clear browsing data BUT only cookies and temp cache sites. By mistake I believe I ticked browsing and download history too, and looks as though it is irrersible? Now I no longer automatically get all the little boxes I used to get for usual regular log ins (eg The Times, Meteo, banks, email etc) I think I can use 'add shortcuts' and re-enter these, but any other suggestions? Hello- about 6 or 7 months ago I started noticing issues where I will type in a web address or a search term and it will not do anything after pressing enter. Just sit there blank. This does not happen all the time but is happening enough that it is frustrating. for example I could type in bank of america or amazon.com or something like that and it will not do anything. No spinning wheel no anything. I can delete what I typed in and try typing something else and the same thing. I can open a new window and try searching again and it will do the same thing. Then a few minutes later I can try it again and it will work fine. BUT what DOES work always is if I open a new private window and search that way it will always work.

Any thoughts? i've deleted cache/browser history, cookies, un-installed and re-installed. I have the firefox is up to date message. I am using FIrefox 151.0.3 64 bit Using windows 11 Home version 25H2

I use Google as my default search engine in firefox.
