Hi, I’m having trouble playing Prime Video in Firefox on my 2023 MacBook Pro. The video freezes, or I get a “Video unavailable” message. It happens both on primevideo.com and when I open Prime Video from Amazon’s website.

Prime Video plays normally in Safari on the same Mac. In Firefox, I’ve tried restarting my Mac and router, turning off my VPN, testing in a Private Window and Troubleshoot Mode, and updating Firefox. “Play DRM-controlled content” is enabled, and Widevine Content Decryption Module is listed and enabled. I also found that media.eme.enabled was set to false and changed it to true, but the problem remains.

Could you help me determine why Prime Video won’t play in Firefox and what I should try next?

See title. On ultra-wide, I would use split view with 4 or 5 tabs regularly if it was available. Please consider adding that function. Also, please add a dark mode to your support site.

To test Firefox I made a pictures folder with Autoindex (github.com/beitdina/Autoindex) and uploaded some pictures. All the pictures have a thumbnail with MSIE and the properties go for example at https://beitdina.net/pictures/index.php?thumbnail=./FB_IMG_1746824252688.jpg but with Firefox the some thumbnails are not generated and a "Thumbnail of" alternative text displays alike with Chrome and Chromium, etc.

I forgot to add something to "Autoindex" or is from the hosting server or is the browser ?

I am using the Firefox browser to watch movies that I would like to project wirelessly to my LG Web OS TV. I do not see any tool in settings or your browser's menu that allows me to do this. Google browsers do allow this as well as Edge and Bing. Is there a way to do this on Firefox.

I always use C Cleaner to clear unneeded my unneeded data once a month. It does not usually affect my Firefox shortcuts on the Firefox homepage. It was also after Firefox had updated to version 158.0 . I did this on Wednesday (14th October) and all of my pinned Firefox shortcuts have gone missing. They have not come back, and no other shortcuts are being shown after I have since visited any websites. What has happened to them? Will this be corrected? Regards John

Bonjour, J'utilise le thème sombre avec Windows 11 depuis longtemps. Lorsque j'ai activé les thèmes contrastés (Aquatique, Crépuscule, Ciel nocturne et Desert ) avec Windows 11 26H2, Firefox 158 s'est retrouvé avec ma page d’accueil personnalisée désactivée. J'ai essayer de la reparamétrée mais impossible : la page reste juste avec le nom Firefox et le champ de recherche sans le bouton de personaliser. J'ai l’extension "Dark Reader" qui s'est aussi désactivé. Tout est revenu à la normale après désactivation des thèmes contrastés. Cordialement.

I try ti start up the VPN and it asks me to sign in. I sign in and then it sats to go to the VPN which has no other option except for me to sign in. This keeps happening

1. Most of my stored passwords in Fire Fox "Passwords" do not work anymore. They do not fill in user name and passwords. They are correctly listed in Passwords and the user names and passwords are correct and can be seen and copied. Also the function "Search in Settings" is not working. You are using tiny symbols on the left bar that I can't even see to tell what they are; I need it in words, not tiny symbols. You took away the choices under the Google Search box so you can't choose to use AI or not. There's probably more, but that's all can think of at the moment. I'm so upset that my blood pressure is skyrocketing and I'll probably have a stroke. This is the second time since I've been a user that you have forced major changes on the users, whether they wanted them or not. I eventually got a usable screen after the prior changes, but it took me time I can't spare, and it was never perfect. Now what you're doing is even worse. Give us a way to go back to the old version so it doesn't destroy our lives like this is doing to mine. I will sue and move to a different browser if I have to.

Just want to thank you folks at Mozilla for causing a complete hard drive failure installing your newest version of Firefox. I’ve used FF for many years and this is the first issue I’ve ever experienced. This new browser is so intrusive it crashed my computer and caused a no boot situation! I lost all my personal files due to this! This browser doesn’t need all the customizable bullshit offered! Thanks for effing up my system and causing major issues now to try to recover my most important files. I’ll be using TOR straight out now! Bunch of bullshit!!

Once again the latest firefox browser has issues so I rolled back the last stable version. It keeps prompting me to create a new profile. I want to use the previous profile that has all my setting and bookmarks. I got to about:profiles and selected the profile i want to make default and it will not add it to firefox. How can I do this?
