Since the latest update on 16/01, my search bar history has just not functioned at all.
Remember history is still ticked, however there is no autofill, and no sites are populating in shortcuts unless i add them manually. Basically history is not saving as it should.
I've checked all my settings but there doesn't seem to be anything amiss.

My search history is clogged with repetitions of the same search. For example I log onto my bank account and the search history shows 15 plus or minus entries. It also happens with other sites i visit often. I searched the internet about "history" and It was suggested that is check extensions and remove them. Then Just today my bank sign-in icon was gone. Sorry Im not always using the correct terminolgy.

I've used firefox for quite awhile, recently, incognito mode stopped deleting the sites visited while it's in use. It appears that none of the settings have changed. I'm told there is a box to check if you want your history while in the mode to be erased. I do not remember ever having this before and it seems counter intuitive.
