Keep on downloading Mozilla Thunderbird Release but it keep coming up as ESR. How can just have Release? My email account with Mozilla is [edited email from community support forum] @pc-q.net can you reply there.

A few days ago I lost all of my saved email messages, plus "sent" emails, and "deleted" emails. I had important information stored there for future use. I am hoping to be able to retrieve it. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

My folders used to show a yellow diamond when there was new email in the folder. The folder colour does still change to blue to indicate unread email. When I open a folder, the yellow diamond still shows up on new email, as well as the unread flag. What have I done? How do I configure Thunderbird to show that yellow diamond on folders with new email?

I deleted over 300,000 emails from my trash. It now tells me I have a couple thousand files left. however, before the massive delete, it said I was using 15 GB of storage. now, with only 2000 files left, it still says I have 15 GB used. I've tried compacting, but I get an error, saying I do not have enough memory to compact. How to I release all that memory that contains just ghost files?

I thought that firefox would be more reliable than google chrome. For some reason, I am having now problems like accessing my youtube account and other things that worked fine before. There are other sites I can no longer access and I am wondering whether that has something to do with your service.

I am wondering what was the exact reason for disabling the 600% volume extension.

Should the users be worried about credential theft or was the extension injecting affiliate links?

Tab groups work well with the standard tab bar, but when changing to vertical tabs, there is no clear way to expand the menu (aka hit the 'V' at the right of the tab bar for horizontal tabs) to see the tab group.

The only fix i found was to turn off vertical tabs, open the tab group, then turn on vertical tabs again.

i need to change my email since my old email go hacked, so i dont have access to my old email anymore. i still have access to my account since i am logged in on my phone and desktop. I have backup authentication codes if that helps. Codes are getting sent to my hacked email which i dont have access to.

I have an icloud-account, a google-account, three facebook-accounts, two gmail-accounts, an outlook-account. How do I simpify the system, and how do I transfer data from one facebook-account to another?

I'm new to thunderbird and i'd like to customize the layouts. I increased the width of the spacesbar by messing with the userChrome.css. however now it is overlapping on the other panels... I managed to fix it on the mail panel, but not the others. (see attached) can you help me find the proper CSS property?

After a recent change the browser scroll always goes to the bottom of the page. Before it was always at the top of the page. I found no way in Firefox to reset this function.

I'm using Firefox as my default browser, and I saw a link preview for YouTube (on tumblr, if it matters) that displayed the message 'Your browser is deprecated. Please upgrade' instead of the actual video title. What does this mean?

I have created a new gmail address for my wife. Would like to add this address to my existing Thunderbird Mail account so that her emails also come to my Thunderbird email account. Not sure how to add her address to do this.. Thanks

Hi, I am using Firefox exclusively for my work Claude account, I only check my usage on it. Today, I noticed Firefox silently installed a webapp under $USER/AppData/Roaming/Microsoft/Windows/Start Menu/Programs, and it has a Claude webapp, which I neither click any install or add to my menu. I found it extremely concerning in terms of privacy, and I am wondering if any other people have similar experience.
