I use middle-click to close the tabs and move and select tabs around a lot and often misclick on a button by accident and I find that really annoying and tedious to always have to scrutinize the buttons before clicking.

I want to hide all of these buttons.

I have tried userchrome and etc... user scripts, that does not work reliably.

HI started getting the message that i couldn't go to websites I refreshed and then uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox browser Now i get the following message no matter which site I try to access

Firefox locks up and crashes on Win 10 desktop after it Firefox updates. If I refresh Firefox it seems to work OK for a couple weeks until Firefox updates . Then it becomes unuseable again. I have refreshed firefox twice now. Should I get this ESR version?

Whenever I use FireFox to watch Twitch, majority of chat just never appears until I refresh the site... It was working good until some month ago...

I use the extension BTTV to get extra emotes on twitch. And it was working perfectly, some say that is the issue, so I removed it to test, but still FireFox is not loading all messages... What can be done to fix this? Just use another browser?

Since today's update to esr 153.5 a lot of things have changed for the worse. One annoying thing is that Firefox always opens now in Minimised view...why? I've never used Firefox Minimised...so now every time I have to click Maximise. Another one was that the Hamburger menu items suddenly had huge spaces between everything...at least I was able to find someone on Google who had a css to fix that. But the same thing is happening in the right click menu also, I had a css for that for years but now that doesn't work. The other super annoying thing is the scrolling has totally changed, I always used to uncheck 'smooth scrolling' and check 'autoscrolling', although I never use what they say autoscrolling is supposed to be about...something about holding the middle button on the mouse?? All I know was that setup used to make the scrolling in Firefox excellent...now it's basically annoying smooth scrolling whatever I check or uncheck. The other thing is after this happened I uninstalled Firefox altogether, and reinstalled the 150.0esr version and all this stuff is the same...even though I was previously on 153.4esr...and it wasn't happening on that? So I suppose I might as well just update to the latest one then? And just put up with all this annoying stuff. By the way, I'm still using Windows 10...not one issue a year after all the doomsaying from Microsoft [Defender still gets security updates anyway?]...which makes me wonder about the so-called 'security' issues with using an older version of Firefox. Thanks, any ideas for ways to fix these things would be very much appreciated. Especially the scrolling thing.

About 4-6 weeks ago Chase started throwing an error message when I tried to log in. Some other banks, credit agencies, brokerage houses also same thing. The work with Chrome and Edge.

Can Mozilla get past this or do I give up and use a predatory browser?

As much as I hate ads on YouTube I don't want Firefox to block the ads because if they find out you are blocking ads they will block you from Google and YouTube. I have Google pages and other things on their sites that have been there for years. Plus, I feel like I'm stealing a service by not lets the ads run that pays their bills and the content creators on YouTube. Please tell me where in Firefox I can turn the ads back on.

I have used Mozilla products since Netscape Navigator came out in 1995 I think it was. I went to a local internet provider and brought home a 3.5in Diskette and it loaded Netscape Navigator with my info all filled in for email, Usenet, Webpage publishing and a few Bookmarks to get started. I still use SeaMonkey for my email because it still has email addresses from the 1990's. I have Thunderbird for email on my phone. Anyway, thank you for all your work over the years. I realize that Windows 10 is no longer supporting but I tried to get into my regular searches and no longer am able to do it. It appears that Firefox is not my browser any more. What can I do? I need to get a new computer but have not yet done so and am limping along

Hello, I did a mistake, I installed 2 instances of Thunderbird, one pointing to the system disk and the other to the user data disk. How do I remove the instance that points to the system disk? Best regards

What the living hell is this? This is prevalent on every PC I've installed FF. Just starting a clean browser with a single tab use 19GB of RAM within 1 second... No wonder why browsing been excruciatingly slow since the previous update.

Yes, I use add-ons like 90% of the users, but that should not warrant a serious and consistent memory leak.

First know that I have threading turned on. I am unable to find how to thread several email messages that I know are related. How can I do that even though they may not automatically be threaded by certain wording? Thanks Russ Pond

While my web page was trying to use voice recognition a download started for Firefox. The voice module has failed to download and now it's not retrying. Is there a ways to reset or do it manually? Now, all I see is a red microphone that does nothing.

Background: I've got a yahoo ("free") email account for many years, and wish to move the current contents of my Inbox to a folder (on imap, not local). Recently yahoo appears to have moved to "cloud" arrangement internally (not sure, but it appears to be the case.) The problem I'm experiencing (below) I believe may be yahoo's back-end cloud processes getting out of sync with Thunderbird's view of the same activity. Therefore, I'm seeking help on how to accomplish this (=I don't think there is a bug in Thunderbird, rather this is a plea for how to manage yahoo's email service for my account.)

Symptom: Moving large number of emails between folders both hosted on yahoo, peers to my inbox on yahoo, using imap - the "export" imap service). Thunderbird says it completes the task, but many (not all) of the moved emails re-appear in yahoo's inbox after a short time, so this makes moving a large (more than a few hundred) emails a *very* laborious process.

What I'm trying to do: I wish to move my current inbox (has about 7.5K messages) to an IMAP-hosted folder (same account, etc.,yahoo email would see this folder as a peer to inbox). When I select all of the messages on inbox and tell Thunderbird to move these to the local folder, thunderbird appears to indicate the task was completed. If I move a very small number of emails at a time, that does complete successfully (=thunderbird says task completed, and the moved emails do not re-appear in yahoo inbox.)

Thanks for looking at this (long) posting and (particular to moderators) if I've posted this incorrectly or in wrong place, please assist!

My primary Password has always been viperrrr@msn.com and you changed it to viperrrr05@yahoo.com. I want to change it back and when I try to add it as a secondary email I get a message that you are sending a code to that email and I never get it and when I try to add the Viperrrr@msn.com email it will not let me add it as it tells me it already exists I am getting frustrated with all the issue lately with Mozilla. It does not sync to my device anymore. If you cannot fix the issues I am leaving mozilla and going with another browser. I would like to speak with a real person about this and get help.

Recently I updated Thunderbird. When it rebooted, all my emails in the INBOX and ARCHIVED folders were gone. I have tried the usual solutions, including REPAIR FOLDER buttons. Those archived messages were important. Any chance of finding them?

This is actually the same in Firefox, and both only since today, working fine before:

Typing Ctrl-C does nothing, Ctrl-X deletes whatever is selected, but it does not end up in the clipboard. In fact, if the clipboard contains something, it will be removed (Win-V still shows it, but it can no longer be pasted). When copying from somewhere else, pasting with Ctrl-V works.

AFAICT, no issues with any other programs.

Latest versions of FF (151.0.2) and Thunderbird (151.0.1), on Windows 10.

What could be wrong?
