My bookmarks on my laptop has lost 90% of my bookmarks. I try to sync with my PC but nothing happens and the laptop remains the same. I've tried closing the browser and logout and login again but nothing changes. I've turn of the laptop and turning on still nothing. How can I be log in and see a different layout, it doesn't make any sense. The only thing I have change on this laptop is down loaded a new version of CClean. Now I've just downloaded mozilla and log in to my account to see that NONE of my data were saved... How is it even possible? I turned synchronization on and then selected which data I want to save. Instead of syncing my current settings, sync just overwrote them with an old, outdated copy from another device, completely ruining my addons, bookmarks and various other settings. I managed to restore the bookmarks, but is there really no proper way to undo this or prevent such thing from happening in the first place? Is there no way to control if I want to sync my setting TO the server or FROM the server? How such a vital decision is even made then and why wouldn't there be a way for a user to control that? This is so disappointing :(
